BECOME A MUTUALITY WARRIOR: PREPARE TO FIGHT

What Time Is It? It's Time To Fight!
"I have fought a good fight."

We are at war! America is at war with herself! With the election of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States it is self-evident to each and every American that we are at war in inner America. However African Americans and all Progressive Americans have the best opportunity that they have had in the last forty years to advance this nation toward racial equality and equal justice, but it will require fighting adversaries. You know who they are. They are attuned to white supremacy beliefs. President Trump will be no better or worse than "we the people" allow him to be. Dare Americans who believe in justice for all Americans fail to take advantage of this opportunity. If you do your children and generations to follow will curse you for your inaction.
A war requires fighters. As Solomon tells us "There is a time for war and a time for peace." (Ecclesiastes 3:8). The time for war in inner - city and rural - America is now. To be victorious fighters must prepare for war. The Mutuality Warrior is the best person to fight for political, economic and social justice for all Americans.
Who is the Mutuality Warrior? The core principles of Mutuality are responsibility and love. (Love is the only absolute and it is always good and right in every situation when well served.) The two methods of Mutuality are dynamic insistence (as opposed to passive resistance) and altruistic pragmatism. These principles and methods define the character and conduct of the Mutuality Warrior whose commitment is to do good, oppose all forms of tyranny and promote justice.
The Apostle Paul at the time of his departure - as he was about to make his transition from mortality to immortality - declared, "I have fought a good fight." Of all the things Paul could have acknowledged while reflecting on his lifelong living, he said, "I have fought a good fight." No, he didn't say I have preached many sermons, established churches, wrote letters that will become scriptures or helped the needy. He didn't recount how he was beaten, stoned, imprisoned and shipwrecked, or the thorn in his body that remained with him all his life.
To be a Mutuality Warrior requires preparation. Being responsible, self-discipline and doing the right thing are key elements in the preparation of the Mutuality Warrior.
In fighting the Mutuality Warrior subscribes to responsibility, not violence or nonviolence. He knows as Solomon informs us that "There is a time for war." And that means violence is the modus operandi. The Mutuality Warrior's discernment ability enables him to know when violence is appropriate.
Some of the ways to fight are: organizing, protesting, speaking out against racial inequality and injustice, including on the radio and TV, writing letters to newspapers and elected officials, using the social media to communicate the progressive agenda, and taking a stand for right.
Elie Wiesel admonishes us to take sides. He says:
"We must always take sides,
Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.
Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."
The Mutuality Warrior proudly declares,
"This is My America Too!"
"This is my America too. I will not be silent and
stand idly by when America is under siege by
some Americans who work day and night to
deny freedom and justice for all Americans
So let the word go forth I will not surrender to
fiendish ideologues now or tomorrow who feign
being patriotic Americans while questioning my
patriotism. This is my America too!"
