Hopefully, this presentation/video will introduce you, as well as extend to you an invitation, to visit...to attend... this virtual spiritual place that can be access with your computer, any day, anywhere, and at any time. (To watch the video visit: www.youtube.com/spiritlifting.) (Should this link not open, please type the link in a search engine, such as Google and select the video titled: "Mutuality World Community Church.) This is a Written Word Church...A Church Without Walls. This door-less virtual Church, a Website for worship, learning, communion, spiritual growth and celebration. It is non-sectarian, non-denominational, interracial, intercultural, interplanetary, interfaith, (including Creator endowed faith that transcends acculturated faiths, which most people are familiar with.) There is an inherent faith in every person. It is to be nurtured and developed to reach its faith and spiritual potential." It is written. Then the Lord said, "Write down the vision and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it." - Habakkuk 2:2 The official book for the Mutuality World Community Church, is: "Religion Par Excellence: Actualization of the Seven Storey Nature of Man" by Uriah J. Fields. (I hold this book in my hand.) This book focuses on the total person. By nature a person is physical, mental, emotional, economic, social, political and religious. In this presentation/video the primary focus is on the religious nature of a person. The religious nature of a person determines largely what happens to him in the other six areas of human living. Keep in mind, by religious we mean spiritual or spirituality. The spiritual, in terms of experience, is viewed or referred to as the religious. I want to share with my reader/viewer excerpts from "Religious Par Excellence: Actualization of the Seven Storey Nature of Man" that will not only familiarize you with this book but will give you insight into the nature and purpose of the Mutuality World Community Church. This book is dedicated to all the people of the world who, by living in harmony with their God- given nature, can have full life and practice community as their lifestyle.
Forms of Religion There are four Forms of Religion that people practice. They are "a Religion of Acceptance," a Religion of Conformity," "a Religion of Rejection and "a Religion of Transcendence." A person cannot avoid being religious. Religion is a spiritual force which resides entirely within the individual. It is like unto "the kingdom is within." At the same time, it is a recognition on the part of a person of a controlling superhuman being or beings which involve the unseen world, the world of spirits, demons and gods. Having a belief in a spiritual being or beings is a minimum definition of religion. A normative definition, rather than a descriptive one is Religion "ought to be" characterized by the faith-feeling of dependence on a personal God and dominated by the will to cooperate with God in the conservation and increase of values. "Ought to be" indicates a higher consciousness approach to existence. A brief look at three of the four forms of Religion. These three forms of religion very often trap a person spiritually. A Religion of Acceptance. A Religion of Acceptance is a "second-handed," hand-me-down" and "pass-it-on, religion. Parents, religious leaders, the educational system, notwithstanding the "Separation of Church and State."rhetoric, and the police are foremost "socializers" of those who embrace this form of religion. A Religion of Conformity. Must you conform? The Religious conformist answers "yes" I must conform, if I am to survive and receive the benefits and avoid punishment. The Apostle Paul recommended something quite different, He said, "...be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). There is a correlation between the rising curve of religious conformity and the falling curve of spiritual bankruptcy. A Religion of Rejection. Who is a religious rejecter? The religious rejector may be a person who accepted his parents' or some other person's advocacy which declares that there is not a God. And after coming of age, chronologically speaking, being old enough to make rational decisions of a worldwide proportion, as he sees the world, rejected a Religion of Acceptance or a Religion of Conformity. He may be an Agnostic or Atheist, having a religious belief system, and while this writer is not prepared to list all their "gospels" he has observed that one of their major gospels can be called "the gospel of blasting religion" and, since they too are religious, sometimes they blast themselves without knowing it. So much for these three forms of religion that are deficient and do not allow a person to reach his God-given spiritual potential. Now let us consider the fourth form of religion. A Religion of Transcendence. Man by nature is a transcendent being, although he may not realize it. This fourth form of religion, more than a form of religion or more than an alternative to the aforementioned forms of religion, although it is an alternative. Unlike the other forms of religion mentioned, a Religion of Transcendence conforms to the nature of man and the nature of God. A Religion of Transcendence provides a person with an opportunity to discover himself, choose God, who has already chosen him, and obey God. He chooses God not only because God has more power than he or because of his respect for God, or because of any rational decision or emotional drive, but rather because the true nature of himself is manifested when his living is a natural expression of God-centered living. A person may be a Protestant, Catholic, Jew, Hindu, Agnostic or Atheist, in the customary sense of these terms, and still have a Religion of Transcendence. Or, none of the above, and have a Religion of Transcendence. The atheist is a liar, not in the classic or nominal sense, but in what may be called the semantic sense. However, most people subscribing to these Faiths do not have a Religion of Transcendence. Consequently, they are very often "dwarfed" by religion. In a Religion of Transcendence, the emphasis is not on the beliefs and practices cited above, denomination, sect, institution or leader, but faith-centered personal commitment and involvement that lead or move a person towards full humanness and soul-completion, as he participates in the full life process. A person who is a practitioner of a Religion of Transcendence is both a minister and a parishioner. He can be no man's disciple. Even more important he is a redeemed child of God. As Jesus put it, "... I call you not servants, but I have called you friends." (John 15:15) A Religion of Transcendence has no dogmas or creed, except for one and it is not really a creed but a personal affirmation, which requires no external validation. The affirmation is: "I have faith in God." A Religion of Transcendence has no idols or graven images such as a cross or statue. It has no sacred places, inferring that other places are not sacred, such as buildings called Church, Temple, Synagogue or Holy City, because every place is especially sacred and good. God made it so. Therefore, a person does not have to go to church or to be in a special place to worship God or to have a religious experience. This is not to say that a person should not go to church or a so-called special place of worship. One's life may be enriched by going to church. Different places may not only serve different functions, but be more conducive to a given type or quality of experience. Many people go to these so-called places of worship weekly and have graveyard-like experiences. They probably would have been better rewarded by going to nature, maybe walking in the forest. Many true believes are trapped by their perfunctory religious practices. A Religion of Transcendence is not geared to heredity and environment or cause and effect as is the case with other forms of religion. A Religion of Transcendence transcends form and religion, as well as those factors and forces which relate to the supernatural by redefining them and disregarding illusions about them. In a Religion of Transcendence doing is manifested becoming and simultaneously in being becoming ceases, at least for the moment. Faith in God is the principal principle to exercise in being a practitioner of a Religion of Transcendence. Faith, unlike believing, assent and knowing is a transcendent quality. Faith is manifested in a Religious of Transcendence in truth and love and because a Religion of Transcendence is a matter of faith which by nature claims ultimacy, it is the only practical solution to the problem of existence, hence of fulfillment and the cosmic union of man and God.
Faith Can Do It What experience, skill and persever- ance cannot do, faith can do it; What wisdom, knowledge and under- standing cannot do, faith can do it; What wealth, power and possessions cannot do, faith can do it; What love, hope and truth cannot do, faith can do it. Faith is the principal thing to be applied in achieving that which appears to be impossible. Nothing is more idiosyncratic and strictly personal than a person's faith. It's your faith. Faith ca do it.

"The Lord Bless and Keep You." (Singing) "I came to the keeper of the gate and I said to him, "Give me a light that I may venture out into the darkness." And he said to me, "Put your hand into the hand of God and it shall be for you better than light and safer than a known way. And I put my hand into the hand of God and he is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." May the Lord bless you and keep you in your lying down and in your rising up, In your going out and in your coming in. May he make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; And may the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and giveyou peace now and forever. Amen.
